Why I Wrote Becoming Terra

I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of science and spirituality—questions of creation, suffering, and whether meaning exists behind what can seem like random loss.

I am a geoscientist by training, with a deep interest in how planetary systems form, evolve, and sustain life. That scientific foundation shapes the world of Becoming Terra, grounding its story in real astrophysics, geology, and climate science.

I wanted to explore what it might mean if Earth itself could wrestle with these questions—if the story of our planet reflected something deeper about our own.

The book weaves real science with a broader philosophical and spiritual framework through allegory, tracing Terra’s difficult origins—and where he may be headed.

At its core, this story is about trust, responsibility, and the possibility that our lives are deeply entwined with Terra’s future.

Thank you for being part of Terra’s journey.
